Rebels and Redcoats at Old Fort Niagara

The American Revolution comes to life with battle reenactments, 18th century merchants, living history camps, and historical vignettes.

The American Revolution comes to life with hundreds of re-enactors, special presenters, battle demonstrations, period camps, sutlers and living history programs. This is a special event for 2015 (not an annual event) featuring new reenactment units and the Northwest Department of the Brigade of the American Revolution.

Saturday, June 6

10:00 a.m. Weapons of the American Revolution 

11:00 a.m.  Assault on the Ravelin

Noon   Prisoner Negotiations

1:00 p.m.  Uniform Program

2:00 p.m.  Battle Demonstration- Raid on a Rebel Camp

3:00 p.m.  Recruiting Demonstration- hands-on activity for kids.

4:00 p.m.   Loyalist Refugee Program

Sunday, June 7 

11:00 a.m.  Assault on the Gate of Five Nations

Noon  Weapons of the American Revolution

1:00 p.m.  Uniform program

2:00 p.m. Battle for the North Redoubt 

3:00 p.m.  Recruiting Demonstration- hands-on activity for kids

4:00 p.m.  Reveille Race - hands-on activity for kids.

Ongoing throughout the weekend- Guard Mount (8th Regiment of Foot), Soldier Life Demonstrations, Corps of Geographers, 18th century merchants, 18th century games and more!

January 13 through March, Open Wednesday-Sunday  10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m

April 1- June 30, Open Daily 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

July and August, Open Daily 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

September 1 - October 15, Open Daily 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

October 16 - December 31, Open Wednesday through Sunday (Closed Mondays and Tuesdays) 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 

The fort will be open daily during Christmas week, December 26 - 31. 

Closed New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
