The War of 1812 comes to life as British and American forces gather at Old Fort Niagara. The event features battle reenactments, living history camps, uniform programs and a Saturday night battle that recreates the 1813 British capture of the fort.

Ongoing Activities —

Surgical Display — Castle, 1st floor — Saturday: 10:30-4:30; Sunday: 10:30 to 2:30

Soldiers’ Life — Throughout the fort, both days

Officers Club Open — 11:00 to 4:00 daily

Food, drinks, snacks and ice cream will be for sale from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. -- Log Cabin

 

*Please note the following special instructions for Saturday's evening battle:          

• On Saturday, the fort is open extended hours because of the Evening Battle.

• Last chance to purchase admission or enter the property Saturday evening is 7:00 p.m.

• Holders of receipts from earlier Saturday admission may use them to reenter the fort for the Evening Battle.

• FOR ALL VISITORS, the CUT OFF for entry to the fort on Saturday is 7:00.

• No one will be admitted after 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, or after 4:30 p.m. on Sunday.

All visitors must exit the fort immediately following conclusion of Saturday Evening Battle.
