Take Exit 25B off I-190 North. Follow the Niagara Scenic Parkway North to the signs to Fort Niagara, North Entrance (1 exit north of Youngstown Lockport Rd./ RT-93). Enter park then simply follow the red signs (1.5 minute drive) to Old Fort Niagara.
From Niagara Falls, Canada

Cross either the Lewiston Queenston or Rainbow Bridge

Follow the Niagara Scenic Parkway North to the signs to Fort Niagara, North Entrance (1 exit north of Youngstown Lockport Rd./ RT-93). Enter park then simply follow signs (1.5 minute drive) to Old Fort Niagara.

Follow I-290 West to I-190

Take I-190 North to Exit 25B Follow signs to Fort Niagara and 25B will take you to the Niagara Scenic Parkway.

Hours of Operation
PLEASE NOTE: THE FORT WILL BE CLOSED FROM JANUARY 1 THROUGH JANUARY 12, 2024 FOR INVENTORY. THE SITE WILL REOPEN ON SATURDAY, JANUARY 13.
January 13 through March, Open Wednesday-Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m
April 1- June 30, Open Daily 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
July and August, Open Daily 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
September 1 - October 15, Open Daily 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
October 16 - December 31, Open Wednesday through Sunday (Closed Mondays and Tuesdays) 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The fort will be open daily during Christmas week, December 26 - 31.
Closed New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Old Fort Niagara is operated by the Old Fort Niagara Association, an independent, not-for-profit organization established in 1927. We do not rely on tax dollars. Instead, the Fort is funded through a combination of admission fees, museum shop sales, and charitable contributions.
